Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

RECIPE Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

Serves 20 protein balls

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups old fashioned rolled oats (160g)

  • 3 tbsp ground flaxseed (25g)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (10g)

  • ¼ cup vanilla whey protein powder (30g)

  • ¾ cups natural creamy peanut butter (190g)

  • ¼ cup honey (80g)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • 1-2 tbsp water, if needed

Directions

  1. Add the dry ingredients to a food processor or blender. Pulse 10-15 times until some of the oats are broken into small pieces but some are still whole.

  2. Transfer the oat mixture into a mixing bowl. Add the protein powder, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract.

  3. Stir with a wooden spoon or standup mixer until well combined. You may add ½ tbsp of water at a time if the dough is not sticking together.

  4. Stir in the chocolate chips. Roll lthe dough into balls (approximately 28g per ball).

  5. Store in an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks and in the freezer for up to 3 months.
