Kendra has loved being active for as long as she can remember. This started out when she was a child at home, watching her dad complete home workouts and oftentimes joining in! Kendra spent the majority of her childhood in dance class preparing for dance competition weekends. As she got older, Kendra started to enjoy running with her dad and when she was old enough, she joined the cross country team at her school. Kendra competed in cross country through middle school and did competitive dance through high school. After high school, Kendra started training for a Bikini Competition. She enjoyed the preparation for that and earned herself first place in her competition. Although she enjoyed the process, the strict meal plan just wasn’t for her.
Fast forward to Kendra’s senior year of college, she discovered CrossFit and immediately was hooked. Kendra enjoyed challenging herself going to CrossFit classes, but found it difficulty to know how to fuel herself. She has had a few nutrition coaches over the years who helped Kendra tremendously in fueling her body appropriately so she could continue to build lean muscle mass and continue to achieve her CrossFit goals. After working with a nutrition coach, Kendra decided that being a nutrition coach and being able to help others reach their nutrition and fitness goals was something she was passionate about. Kendra obtained her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Cetification in December of 2021 and has not looked back since! In January of 2022, Kendra and her husband, Brendan, launched their very own nutrition and personal training company, called Harberts Health.
Kendra is also a full time Registered Nurse. She is passionate in helping others learn how to step into the best version of themselves and loves to live and model a lifestyle where physical and mental health are a priority. Outside of nursing and nutrition coaching, Kendra loves being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and Aussiedoodle, Reese.
